hello! i am recently conducting a thesis entitled THE EFFECTS OF Lactobacillus casei STRAIN SHIROTA ON THE REDUCTION OF Salmonella typhimurium FECAL SHEDDING IN CHICKEN. i am wondering if it is possible to measure bacterial reduction by means of inoculating fecal samples (subjected to serial dilution) via pour-plate method on selective agar (xld). if not, is there any other method by which i could do so? thanks!
