I have both, the lectures and highlights along with the notes.

I havent done the complete lectures but i can tell you that Cardiology, hemato and infectious d. with Dr Conrad Fischer are just great. He adds a lot and gives you many tips... besides he is hilarious.

I didnt like Neurology and preventive medicine in the lectures- dont waste your time listening to these- they are boring and everything he says is in the notes.
The rest of internal medicine is fine, although everything is in the notes, almost nothing added.

I am doing psychiatry now and Dr. Alina Gonzalez Mayo is very good as well. She explains what is in the notes more precisely and gives you many examples.

So I would say that so far the lectures are worth it because of Dr Conrad Fischer and Dr Alina.

cant tell you about the rest , havent gone through them

Hope this helps

Good luck

Hello Dr.Bluesky,

Excuse me for troubling you but may I seek your advise regarding KAPLAN STEP 2 CK :

I live in Italy but have been fortunate to be able to purchase a brand new set of Kaplan Step 2 CK (2003) : is there a particular method you would advise for studying this course ie 1st Internal Medicine , 2nd Surgery , 3rd Ob/Gyn. ?

Regards,

Atmed

 hi Dr. atmed!
Actually i havent taken my test yet.
I started with internal medicine because thats what i like the most. I alternate a subject that i like with one that i dont , or a difficult one with an "easy" one so i wouldn't loose motivation.
I dont think that the order matters -i may be wrong- as long as you follow an schedule. Thats my suggestion, hope it helps.

I wish you the best in your steps
grin
ciao!
