Dear friends, I am a graduate from India.I did MS(Orthopaedics). Now I am UK since 2 years. I have passed MRCS. Could you please guide me what to do to enter in to Orthopaedic Residency in US. I understand that i need very good USMLE scores.Should they be >95? Is there any web site which can help me to know the facts regarding present status of Orthopsedic residencies? Is it impossible? Is it worth giving a try? I would really appreciate for your kind help. Thank you very much in advance Vinay

Getting a ortho residencyin US is very difficult if not impossible. B/w I dont think deciding your speciality just on the basis of 'how much money you can make' is a good idea. But than thats just me.

get 99s on step scores, and have your UK docs call any US ortho docs they know to get you in. It can be done, but everyone I know who got it had connections
