Dear friends

There is something strange I thought about & I would like to know what you think about it.

In step 1 score report at the 3 digits score it says that mean & standard deviation are 217 & 23. So 240 which is almost 98 equals 1 standard deviation.

My query is if that theory is right more than 15% of the examinee scores more than 98?
I am just wondering about how good the score is as a measure if more than 15 % got 98 & above !!??
I hope someone knows about that clarify it for us

Thnx.

I think you are right in that regard. A score of 241 and above would indicate that you are in the top 15%.

wow, didn't know that the 2 digit score wasn't the actual percentile. Thats good to know.
