hi,
if u remember the base sequenc in nucleic acids .....while replicating as occur during mitosis nucleic acids first form an intermediate which has complimentary base sequences than the original one...and then the intermediate strand transcribes the new strand from those complimentary bases.....

so genome nucleic acid of bacteria will hv it's complimentary base sequnces on the intermediate DNA or RNA ......

don't get confused with polarity (+/-) it only denotes whther tht nucleic acid for eg. mRNA is able to translate into rRNA in which case it wud be +ve OR if it requires to be first transcribed to undergo translation to rRNA then it wud be hvin -ve polarity

hope it helps smiling face
