What happens to gluconeogenesis in galactosemia? Does anyone have a good explaination for this? Thanx!

Galactosemia is a deficiency of galactose-1-phosphate uridyl transferase

Gluconeogenesis is most likely based on aminoacid, Pyruvate, AcetylCoA, Glycerol etc so it is normal
