hi, i am a student in shifa college of medicine, 1st year. i was wondering if anyone had any advice on how to begin early preparations for USMLE study. (organizing notes, what topics to pay particular attention too, etc). Help from people currently studying for USMLEs will be much appreciated.

Dear jsad,
This is the way to prepare.
1. get first aid for usmle
2. Look at the review books for all subjects
3. Buy the top rated review books
4. During the course, also finish the review book for that subject, for example, if you are doing physiology from guyton or ganong, then go ahead and also do it from BRS
by the time you finish 4 th year pathology, you will be ready for step 1
good luck and pray 4 me as i am about to sit for step 1
