Are the uncompetitive inhibitors the same thing as allosteric inhibitors?

allosteric inhibittor acts by stabilising the T state(transition state), so no further reaction takes place. non competitive inhibittors bring about a change in the configuration of enzyme so that substrate cant bind to the enzyme. see this link--http://web.umr.edu/~nercal/teaching/chem361/chem361-lec10-chap8/HTML%20Presentation%20folder/sld041.htmhttp://web.umr.edu/~nercal/teaching/chem361/chem361-lec10-chap8/HTML%20Presentation%20folder/sld037.htm i hope u will be clear now.
