hi,i plan to take step1 in 4 months,starting from march.can someone plz guide on how to start,from where to start.do all study at home and then take the test or take kaplan courses too.

If you want the most solid prep possible here's my suggestion. Its going to sound pricey and its going to sound intense but here goes. Go buy web prep and the live lectures that start in may. Your planning to take the exam late june right? Check this plan out.
Get the lecture notes now....go thru them using web prep at least a couple times before MAY live lecture starts. By the time live lecture starts you'll already have read the lecture notes twice. AFter classes you can start doing questions. Then you have all of June to read the lecture notes one last time thru and do a shi* load of more questions (Qbank, BSS, Blackwell, NMS...etc..) This plan will probably cost 5K. But sounds like the most solid prep you can have to get a 99 while covering all your bases. Dang I wish I could of done this plan.....
