Patient has recently been diagnosed with NonHodgkin's Lymphoma. Which of the following procedures would you request that would determine if the patient has stage IV disease?

a) Excisional lymph node biopsy
b) Bone marrow biopsy
c) laparotomy

Stage 4 desease should have extra lymphatic site mets---> so i will pick BMBiopsy.

Excisional lymph node biopsy--->laparotomy / Abdominal CT scan--->Bone marrow biopsy

laparotomy / Abdominal CT scan --->used to detect abdominal involvment

if stage 4----->check if BM is affected---->Bone marrow biopsy
