A 5 year old boy with thymic mass was recently diagnosed with ALL. Which of the following specifically describes this type of ALL:

a) nervous involvement
b)CALLA preB cells
c) (+)TdT
d) T-cell variant

Huh, i guess C but i am doubtful with the D too :? .

A boy with a thymic mass with ALL suggests T-cell variant.

(+)Tdt is also seen with this patient, but it is also seen in B-cell variant. Therefore, it is not specific for this type.

Nervous involvement is dominant in ALL.
