Three CS repeaters in New Orleans are looking to for a large review group to study for the CS 2-3 times a week in the Metairie/Kenner area.
We will be using USMLE world and thought that a large group would benefit all for practice.
All three of us are IMGs and failed the CS in Houston.
One in Oct, one in Nov, and one in Dec.
Please reply if you're interested.
We will be reapplying to take the CS in Atlanta in April.

I am from New Orleans, too and failed CS in Houston in January :cry:
Which part did the guys who you know failed? I failed communication and interpersonal skills....
After taking the exam I worried about the PE and Data gathering, but I thought my interpersonal skills were OK, I tried to be nice, always asked for permission before PE, washed my hands, tried to look concerned, etc.....
I am very much disappointed, but decided to retake the exam in June.
I've read that you are forming a study group, but unfortunately I'm leaving NO soon and will return only in May.

hi all, sorry that u guys have to retake the cs...good luck to u this time...
after reading ur posts, i'm getting a little worried. all of u mentioned that u failed the cs in houston & i plan to take it here in may!!
i can still change the centre if u guys cud tell me ur suggestions regarding cs in this centre? :cry: pls advice....

Hi Docsuki,
The test center in Houston seemed to be OK, the proctors and the SPs were nice, I felt that I had fair rapport with them.... Thatswhy I felt surprised and dissapointed after getting the results.
There are lots of ppl who passed in Houston, so don't worry 
Actually I was thinking of going back to Houston again, but for me maybe its not the best idea...

We are retaking the exam in April...
All three of us have decided on taking it in Houston again.
Better to face the Known enemy, rather than the unknown.
Two of us failed the patient note. this is not corrected in houston, but rather scanned and sent elsewhere. We were not fluent in writing the patient note, and now after practicing with USMLEWorld have realized that we wrote no negative findings.
