any will do. Don't expect to hear too much on the exam. The SP's are for the most part totally normal. It is more about making sure you do the correct examinations for the given history. No MDM with presystolic accentuation, etc, so no need for fancy steth. If you forget it, they have a few available at the center

ok. thanks a lot. i will probably buy a regular one in this case.
also, i want to ask you a question. for the physical exam part, should i be specific or general? for example, for a headache patient, should i just exam the headache relevant signs or pretty much the whole body including lung, heart and neurological exam and etc? thanks.

that is the hard part about this exam. For HA do a neuro exam plus sinuses. There is a little you must do for each person no matter what is wrong. That would include a brief general exam (cyanosis, pallor, clubbing, edema, LN, etc), Resp, CVS, and abdo exam. Emphasis on brief. Remember, you don't have to really look/feel/hear anything. Chances are there won't be any fidings. You just need to convince the SP that you are doing a test you should do, and that you are doing it correctly. For example, if I looked for the PMI (apex beat) on a SP, I don't actually feel around finding it. I put my finger where it's supposed to be and if I don't feel it, no problem. Or for the fundus exams, just act like you are looking in the eye. You don't have the time to sit there and really look at things.
