Ans C histones. DNA replication takes place during the S phase.

This how I do it: Interphase is: G1--S --G2/ Division occurs in Mitosis-M-phase. G1 is the Gap between birth and DNA synthesis! (At the end of G1 centrioles pair) G1-RNA, protein, carbs and lipod synthesis also occurs about 5 hrs. S-chromosomal protein(eg.histones) synthesis occurs about 7 hrs. S---*Histones are synthesized and combine with DNA/centrioles complete there replication during S phase G2 a gap before mitosis ATP synthesis occurs about 3 hrs. M-Mitosis check point -At G1 is 2 cyclin D&E check point -At G2 is 1 cyclin A&B p53 anti oncogene can shut off cell cycle cyclins are degraded during anaphase of the M phase. So my answer is C. good q!
