Best: U Hospitals of Cleveland/Case Western Reserve University. Nice, frienly university based prorgam. Great reputation, great esprit de corps, great fellowship placement, lots of research opportunities

Worst: Prince George Hospital Center, DC area (Cheverly, MD). Hospital finances in doubt, bad part of town.

BEST: Emory University.

WORST: MSSM -Queens Hospital Center- (worst facilities for teaching sessions).

Out of the ones I visited,

Best: UMKC and St Lukes-Roosevelt NY

Worst: Interfaith Medical, Brooklyn NY
Bad area, terrible atmosphere, unfriendly attitude, practically no chance of fellowship (in case you are interested in one).
Only 2 pros- prematch with H1 for sure with very high salary(around 50Ks/yr)
One Resident frankly said, "Come here if you need H1 and dont have anywhere else to go"

The worst- PG County Hospital, MD This is the saddest hospital I've seen: blank or disturbed faces and stagnation. Patients in the area try to avoid this hospital and go there only if there is no else place to go. Nevertheless, the program had only 2 slots for match so they offer a lot of prematches and people take it. I guess, it is better to be somewhere than be "homeless"sad
