i'm planning to take usmle 2 CK end of may... just read about NBME...what is it? Is there an NBME 1 and 2 ? If anyone can tell me what it is and how to go about taking it, it would be great. thanks.

The NBME exams (1 and 2) are exams that reproduce the real thing and let you check where you stand. You can take them at the NBME website for $45 each. Most people recommend taking at least one of them before sitting for the steps, since you will get a score report that correlates fairly well with your final result.

hi rema! it's a great idea to take nbme. what it doesn't tell you is which one you got right or wrong, or why the answer is this or that. it doesn't give you the answers. all it is is a bunch of questions which give you an idea where you stand on the test, and how ready you are to take it.

Hi I read your email according nbme . aren't they the same qs usmle sends for us when it sends the exam permit ( i mean the CD) how many qs it has , Thanks wish u best luck [-o<
