HI,
i applied to very selective programmes in this eras cycle.i did not get any interview calls from them.i am looking for an H1 visa and i have some questions-
1}is it true that H1 visas are not offered in the post match scramble?
2}are there any chances of me getting a position if i apply in some programme for the first time during the scramble?

You can take your chances for scramble....but I would strongly advice you to contact even the 'less selective' programmes too,this time round.
Why did you only apply to highly selective programme.....if you don't mind your credentials please?
