in case of a child/elderly abuse,whom should the physician inform....the police or the social service agency?
can anyone tell me plz?

both are mandatory reportable offenses.

First is to protect child/elderly and then report (social service agency).

Thats reasonable advice-You may have to admit the victim to protect them.

Are we aloud to keep the child even against the parents wishes...if yes in this case what about other instances like the child is destructive...or injuries to the child to treat them..against parents wishes?

contact social services and admit the child if necessary to protect him/her from harm...social services will then take the necessary steps...
