I had at least 50 questions that were directly from step 1, which of course ,i didn't bother of reading over... Those topics were anatomy, biochemistry, and physiology... did anyone else have the same experience?

I didn't. Maybe some pathology topics are cross covered by both steps. Regards!

Hi, I took my exam on January 18th. I had the same type of exam, atleast 40-50 question directly from Step 1. lot of questions were about Mechanism of drug action & their side effects. Goodluck to you. Thanks

i started to study for step 2, given this knowledge about step 1-like q's. Im reading from Kaplan but couldnt help but notice that a lot of the content refers back to step 1, esp pathophys and MOA of drugs esp CVS drugs. So, given this I think its fair game. But knowing that you could be tested on this is a step ahead of the NBME right? Just keep it in mind while studying.

Its more than pathology and pharmacology that is seen in Step 2. I remembered I had a question physiologic questions and embryology questions (yep.. embryology) dealing with the reproductive system.
