OK i want to move to LA from London. I went out there last year loaded with resumes, all ready, after having some responses regarding work, i was asked if i had a work permit..Which i do not.
HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO GET A H1B VISA - IN THE FIRST PLACE!
As i understand it WE must be offered a job offer - this from the words of a lawyer i spoke to last week? If no US company are prepared to give u s a fair go, were not gonna get anywhere. Why cant i just apply for a visa off my own back?

Some organizations won't sponsor visas - and it's not illegal, they don't have to support them. Most countries wouldn't let me just go and work without the proper visa. :cry:
