Hi everybody,
Migration of USMLE Step 1 to the FRED software is expected to occur in May/June 2005. roll
Does anybody here has some information about this?What are the advantages and disadvantages of this new software ? Should I take the test before May/June ? Are they going to change USMLE question format too? |

This year, the NBME is changing the format of the computer software used
when taking USMLE Step 1 from the older Prometric software to the newer FRED
delivery system. To familiarize yourself with this software, and to access a
few free sets of board questions, go to
http://www.usmle.org/Orientation/menu.htm and download the files under the
Step 1 section.
