osgood schlatter is osteochondritis of the tibial tuberosity, usually presents in teenagers. stress fracture of tibia - more likely to involve the shaft of tibia or the malleoli - seen in chronic overuse like long distance marathon runners and sports injuries etc.

Noelle, they are diffirent like day and night. :| Osgood is osteochondritis of the tubercule, the other is hard to recognise in X ray fracture. Both need non weight bearing casts and some rest from activities up to for 6-8 weeks.
