Hi, Guys:
I will apply 2006 residency in Carlifornia . I heard about some special certificate required for IMG. COuld you please tell me where I can find those information? How will I start this process? Thanks in advance!

You will need a Letter of Authorization from California Medical Board to apply for a residency position in California.
Official information and application forms are available at http://www.medbd.ca.gov/applicantinfo.htm.
Apply early, it might take 6 months or more.

can u apply for the california letter before ur ecfmg certified? with step 2 resutls only?
and does anyone know how img friendly is california and how hard compared to the rest of the states is it to get into a residency there specially IM or FP?
i know the 2nd q is a very vague one any thought are much appreciated
