Hi guys, I assume that most of you have passed Step1 and are working on Step2 now. As a biginner for step1 oops , I have a question about test preparation strategy. I've heard many times that the knowledge tested in Step2 will also help a lot in step1. What I am using for step1 are Kaplan notes. So, which step2 book would you suggest me to read plus the notes? Would CMDT helps me on both Step1 and 2? Thanks!

CMDT will help with STEP 2 CK and STEP 3. It is overkill to read CMDT for Step 1. You're brain will be fried. For Step 1, the two reading requirements are FIRST AID and Kaplan. That's it. Reinforce what you learn with questions, esp. Kaplan Qbank.

CMDT is overkill for even step II. Kaplan is more than enough for a 99

I agree with retroviradae.Cannot comment about step2 untill I pass it but definitly kaplan is all u need for step1(with q bank).Another thing that helped me was webprep. It kept me on trac .It is the revision of same stuff as notes. So u read the notes and listen to the lectures and ur brain is getting same info via two diff ways. For step2 also I am planning to stick to kaplan as per advice from friends like retroviradae. Hope it helps
