Hurrah ! I passed it. I am now finished with my USMLE's. Already interviewed with 10 programs and now ready to send out my rank order list.
Some programs of my choice indicated that they would have offered me a pre-match if my ECFMG certificate was already in but thanks to ECFMG for their services, I was not that lucky to have scores and certificate in time.
I attribute my success to my wife. She helped me with almost everything. I practiced 40 cases on her in a week. She is a non-medical person but she performed very well on providing feedback to my performance. It's good to have a smart wife

My advice: DO NOT rely solely on PAMH......but rely on problem focused hx. Be extreemly nice to patients. All books out there are almost same. What makes a difference? PRACTICE - PRACTICE - PRACTICE.

I also would like to thanks 2bmd for the help.

I am soooo happy and sooo looking forward to the match day!

Tonight is my celebration night and I am so ready for it !

Hey Guys! Good luck....and DO GOOD

Cookie,
I had less then 2 months to study (that was the earliest date I could find) but I ended up studying for about 3 weeks. I primarily focused on usmleworld.com but one day b4 exam I had a chance to look at first aid and liked it too. I think you should also look at First Aid.

I practiced 40 cases but prepared about 72 cases (all those available at usmleworld.com). Usmleworld is good but is unorganized but is worthy to look at.

Practice as much as you can. Practice like an exam with time restrictions and also write notes. Try to type if you can.

Hope it helps

As you asked; I have not taken step 3 cuz I do not need visa and I would prefer to take it rather after my first year is over, so I may score better.

Good Luck
