In a certain population, the frequency of color-blind males is 1 in 100. Assuming that the population is in Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium at this locus, the frequency of color-blind females is approximately A. 0.0001 B. 0.0005 C. 0.01 D. 0.02 E. 0.025

This what i did: p2+2pq +q2=1 p+q=1 1/100=.0010 q2=.0010 q=0.01 so I go with answer-c {lot of room for error} and I assume its autosomal reccesive??? Assuming no mutations, no migration, no selection, large pop. no selection

ı think A is true .we must solve this problem by assuming X and Y kromozomes, color blindness is carried by X COLOR BLİND MALES=XY 0.01(FOR ONLY ONE X) COLOR BLİND FEMALES=XX 0.01×0.01 =0.0001
