Hello everyone,
For an IMG who does NOT need visas, how important it is to take the Step 3 before applying this fall for residency? Do residency programs emphasize more the fact that someone is ECFMG certified or that in addition to that, one has good Step 3 scores as well?

Step three is only important before residency if you need it to apply for an H1B visa.
