Hi all
I have another confusion in andersen D(glycogen storage D type IV).
It is caused by def: of branching enzyme.
Is there any role of branching enzyme def: in glycogen storage?
Is so then how?

The glycogen constructed in GSD IV is abnormal and insoluble. As it accumulates in the cells, cell death leads to organ damage. Leads to failure to thrive . Cirrhosis is the main ultimate complication.
