Do Kaplan Q-bank and UW after having read your subjects once or twice. Only do the NBME close to your exam. It should be saved as an assesment of how you will do on the real USMLE. I would say take NBME ~1 month to 2 weeks before your exam. Then if you are not getting the score you want, delay the test if you have to.
