On constrast CT scan :arrow: White high attenuation ring aound black low attentuation center.
Plz explain this sign

Contrast gets to location through vessels, abscess is incapsulated by tissue with vvessels and all soft and necrotic inside. Contrast only gets to where vessels are, hence, Ring Enhancing lesion, contrast only on the outside of abscess.
