it's a measure of the risk of dying because of a certain disease
CFRate= no of deaths b/c of disease A / no f patients with disease A

oh, it's that fraction times 100, i forgot to add that ( its a percentage)

I think when it is measured as a percentage it is called (Case Fatality Ratio) - not rate. Anybody have an idea about this?
