Thanks for the all the help rendered.
I got prematch and I signed the contract too.I have a copy of it with me.They asked me to hire an attorney and then that attorney should stay in touch with one employee of the hospital.I know that I am spending from my pocket but my question is
By what time my step 3 result should be ready? They tell that premium processing takes only 15 days and Residency starts only on July 1st .Step 3 results take normally 4 to 6 weeks.Taking all these into consideration , what do you think is the date that is appropriate for me? Please give me a range (from earliest to latest) sothat I can make up my mind.I started serious preparation from December onwards (10 hours a day)with Kaplan material.I got 87 on step2(Sep'04).

If you were my new hire, I would tell you that you need to have step three results in your hand by the end of March - mid April at the very latest. Besides, as long as you pass - at this point you have the job - is the score that important???? (Not if you saw most of the scores that I have seen!!)

Thanks for the prompt help.Got the message.Should I contact the hospital authorities and keep them updated on when am I actually taking the test and when is the result expected and things like that? They asked me to hire an attorney and he(the attorney) should contact the spokesperson of the hospital , they said.So, is it mandatory that I be in regular touch with the PD or the coordinator and keep him abreast of the things?
For the orientation which is to start on June 15 th should I need a visa? If I were to write my exam on March 10th and get the result in April 15th and it is just 2 weeks for the premium processing.Wont that be okay? Please advise....
