Hi doc75, The best way to do that is to click on the search feature underneath the Prep for usmle logo in the upper left hand corner of your screen. After clicking on search, you can search for "daily diary- namf"or type in namf in the author box. His diary was the source of inspiration for my diary - I hope his words will inspire you in your quest to pass the USMLE 1 as well. All the best, pinkangel

Dear maryam, Wow. Thank you for your kind words. I am truly humbled by all the well wishes of my colleagues on this forum. When I started my diary, it was with the intent to ease my daily anxieties. I had no idea it would inspire anyone, let alone many people on this forum. Actually, I was afraid that many people would laugh at me and think I was very stupid for posting my story - who would have such a problem like me and be stupid enough to tell everyone about it? My feelings about the USMLE 1 were stronger than my initial fears of posting my story. Afterall, nobody had to read it, let alone care about my story. I was anonymous. If I have helped 1 person with my story, then I am greatful. Thanks for sharing yours. Believe me, I felt miserable after getting a 300 on my NBME1. That was about 2 months before my exam. You can do a lot of studying in 5 weeks. The last week before my exam was practically fruitless - just a review of what I learned at Kaplan. My advice to you - do not take the exam before you are ready. Is your exam date fixed because of time constraints? For example, is it possible to postpone it in the slim chance that you are not ready? Everyone has a different time schedule and study habit. I was not ready to take my exam in mid December due to personal circumstances. I took my NBME 1 in mid November and decided to postpone my exam until Jan 19 even though it was inconvenient for my time schedule. I could not afford to fail again this time as I was already registered for the Match this year. My scores on Qbank and Qbook went up after my initial NBME exam and I didn't take the exam until I felt more comfortable with my score. Only you know how you're doing - everyone's situation is different. No one will feel totally prepared for this exam. Anyone can sit for a year or a lifetime studying for this exam if they had to. However, you must feel comfortable with yourself enough to take it. I call it my gut feeling. Trust yourself. What do you feel? If you feel panicked and your scores are not going up any a week before your exam, DO NOT TAKE IT. A failure on your record is not worth the heartache and agony of taking the exam prematurely. Trust your scores, take your NBME 1 again 2 weeks before the exam to see where you stand. Then proceeed from there. I guarantee that you'll see a huge improvement in your scores. All the best to you, Pinkangel
