35 years old lady come to your clinic complaining of right wrist pain which at times wake her from sleeping. She doesn’t have any other problem. On examination right hand thenar atrophy is found. What next investigation you would like to do
1. CT Brain
2. MRI brain
3. Blood Sugar
4. X-ray Skull
5. X-ray Cervical spine.
6. X-rays Right wrist
(ELM: any comment about the format of the question is like usmle type)

I was thinking about glucose too, but she doesn't have a single clue for DM?

X ray of wrist wont show much. And DM is a risk factor to carpal tunnel...

sanz is right as no xray will give any addtion information as the diagonsis in very clear from history and examintion blood sugar will rule out or in DM which is a risk factor
