Studied all the step 3 books and last month focused on the Platinum vignettes and Crush step 3. Thought the test was easy ; I felt confident but to no avail. Got worse score than when I was guessing ! From what I can see, the questions lead you into a trap ; you jump to a conclusion prematurely. Need to slow down and second guess yourself like -- I think its B but wait, how am I being fooled ? There arent any questions available that attempt to fool you by getting you to jump to the wrong diagnosis ; this is the biggest problem I see studying for the boards. Going to try using harrisons pretest for medicine. It was the Robbins Path questions that got me through step 1 so Im going back to the drudgery of difficult questions as they seem to stress your brain enough to increase intellegence. Never give up, all you need to do is pass no matter how many times you repeat the test.
