Hi BBB
I got a prematch from NewYork and they said they will do H 1 too. They asked me to withdraw from NRMP and send a proof to that effect, which I did.Now ,it has been 10 days since I did that, I have not recieved any contract papers at all..????Programme director spoke to me on phone about my selection and I have a e-mail from the secretary saying that I have been selected as Resident and it is a prematch offer.I have cancelled my all other interviews and preparing seriously for step 3.
This 10 day delay is normal? Or is it something alarming?
I have sent them an e-mail 5 days ago, saying that I have not recieved any contract papers. No reply to that?
Should I call them? Is this (the delay) normal? Please advice me what to do?
Do programme directors go back on theirword ?
Please answer soon and relieve my anxiety...
Thanks a lot for the help

Call them - ask them to fax you a copy of the contract so that you can sign it. Ask them to let you know which attorney you need to send your information to.

Don't be shy - this is stuff that you need to start working on.
