I took step1 on december 16th. I waited until midnight yesterday (wednesday) and my scores were not reported, but today when I get home at 4:00 p.m I realized that OASIS was updated, then I tried to begin a new application (big mistake), because I accepted it so I thought I failed AGAIN (I'm a test repeater), I cried, called my mom She is back in my country (South America); but no matter what , I enter this site to read the stories of test repeaters (like me), suddenly I read again how you can check your scores in OASIS, so I went again to the site enter my "old" application code and suddenly the EXPECTED RED Words appeared:"Our records indicate that you have already passed this Step or the equivalent NBMEŽ Part", so I'M SO HAPPY!!!!!!! but the really objective of this message is to encourage all test repeaters, and tell them that if I could i'm sure you can guys!! YOU CAN'T LOSE HOPE, God is always there for you!!. So after telling you part of my story let me tell you how my schedule was: 1. I failed the first time because I didn't study hard. I only study from first aid and some old books 2. Big Mistake: PLEASE don't study in your native language that was a really stupid thing 3. After I failed (April 2004) I took the diagnostic test in Kaplan and only got 52% . I took the Kaplan Web Prep(It was great) for 2 months(July-September), then I study by my self for 2 months (10-12 hours per day), finally I took the Qbank one month(got 72%)before the test, Usmle Cd (got 88% a week before) So I really recommend you the Kaplan Web Prep (it is great and you have an online diagnostic test too), also the Qbank, and the First Aid. Last but no least, I would like to encourage all IMGs to study very hard and take the kaplan courses they are really worth it!! Gracias mami, abue P.S still waiting for my results
