A 35 year old sustain a knife wound to the neck that completely destroy the left C6 dorsal root ganglion, 2 months later, the axons, dendrites and nerve cells of this damaged structure have completedly degenerated. What change in the spinal cord can be predicted from this injury A. Axonal loss in the contralateral spinothalamic tract B. Axonal loss in the ipsilateral fasciculus cuneatus C. Axonal loss in the ipsilateral fasciculus gracilis D. Nerve cell loss in the contralateral ventral horn E. Nercel cell loss in the ipsilateral dorsal horn

i think the answer is quite obvious;since its the dirsal root ganglion is damaged there are two 1st ordeer neurons there(1-those conveying pain and temp, and those conveying vtp(vib crude touch and pressure).Of the given choices the latter is chosen since it ascends directly without relay on the dorsal column(at this level fasiculas cunatus).
