I think 3. Mitoch have their own DNA and replicate separate from the nuclear DNA.

the mitochondria have their own DNA and they replacte and provide all the oxidative phospho. enzymes via encoding this DNA and i isolated organelles that have autoreplicity ...did u get what i mean ??

8) Mitochondria contain their own piece of circular DNA that is replicated independently of the nuclear DNA and it contains the genes for 16 mitochondrial proteins. The rest of the mitochondrial proteins are nuclearly encoded and are transported to the mitochondria via the mitochondrial import machinery TIM and TOM complexes and all that jazz bottom line: correct answer is C
