I also had both Q-book and Q-bank. YOU MUST purchase the Q-bank.... the questions are updated to reflect the current trends of the USMLE. I would do both; however, you will get your moneys worth out of the online version for many reasons. I would only do Q-bank for a month and use all the questions in random fashion. Be aware of bogus pirated copies floating around... they are good to work through, however, the questions change on Q-Bank to again reflect current trends tested on by the boards. A month subscription is well do-able in 30 days. It will get you in the practice of taking test after test online and your learning will be interactive by reading all the detractors and information associated information.
Good luck..... I just found I passed and this is what I did.
