BBB;

I m an FMG trying to participate in the 2006 match for residency in Anaesthesiology. When should i start working on getting J visa and whom should i contact?

The ECFMG site says i need to get an official letter from my Home country about the shortage of docs in that field. How do i get that from India?

What chances does an FMG stand of getting a J visa from the sponsor?

Most programs will sponsor a J1 visa! That's the preferred visa!

How do you get it? Go to the ECFMG web site and down load the materials and go at it. As for the no-objection letter from India - that all happens before an applicant comes to me so I have no knowledge of that at all.
