my question is, if a patient is having s/s of Uretheritis and is diagnosed on culture as gonorrheal what should be the treatment. Should it be only ceftriaxone or ceftriaxone with doxycycline as chlamydiae is also a quiet common cause.

CefriaxoneIV stat + doxycycline oral shud be given in such cases coz usually there's associated chlamydial infection .............. grin

How about CEftrioxone+Azithromax Single dose Smitha . I think that too will work. Please correct me if Wrong.

Ceftrixone+ Azithromax can be given in Pregnancy I think. Please correctme if wrong.
