PGY1 u have to do for anesthesia is preliminary or transitional year..I guess now it is very late even to make a try... and I don't recommend it as it may become waste of money..wait for interviews for programs u have applied ...also try post match..(there will be a chance if u don't need visa).. hope some one else in forum will be able to say u more about this...

thank u once again usmleasr, yes,i'll take ur advice and wait for post match as i m GC holder.but can u tell me more about the post match applications. how to go for that positions?
