here are a few mnemonics that i made up. they really helped, hope they can do the same for you.

1- Causes of aplastic anemia: Idiopathic Aplastic Anemia = Very Few RBC.
Idiopathic aplastic anemia, Antimetabolites, Alkylating agents, Virus, Fanconi's anemia, Radiation, Benzene, Chloramphenicol.

2- Causes of DIC: PTT GONe Mad
Pancreatitis, Trauma, Transfusion, Gram negatives, Obstetric complication, Nephrotic syndrome, Malignancy

3- Causes of cholesterol stones: C 3 WOMEN Agonise
Clofibrate, Crohn, Cystic fibrosis, rapid Weight loss, Obesity, Multiparity, Estrogens, Native american origin, Advanced age. (and C is a reminder for Cholesterol stones)
