please could someone help me understand how to differentiate the two if come in exam?

cavernous sinus thrombosis can be a complication of orbital cellulitis

Appearence of signs & symptoms in the contralateral eye is diagnostic of CST

CST--->papilledema since CSinus collects from Orbital veins.
OS---> no papilledema since there is no veins involved.....best thing to DDx the two!
