You're working in a busy clinic, where an astute professor has been in for the third time with a blood pressure of 150–160/90–105. You correctly diagnose him with hypertension. He has no other diseases. What is the evidence-based drug of choice for primary hypertension in him? A. ACE inhibitor or beta blocker B. ACE inhibitor or diuretic C. Calcium-channel blocker or ACE inhibitor D. Calcium-channel blocker or beta blocker E. Diuretic or beta blocker

I'd say E, but it would have been important to know his age too.....if he's young I woudnt put him on a beta-blocker right away....so i'd choose B. The question doesnt offer too much info for a straight correct answer.
