good to see u back again...how r u doing..im sure u r studying hard n doing ur best...well im kinda scared too of coz of recent failures...i met 3 guys from
my state n they all had failed CS..its kinda scary....i know i made some mistakes too....n if i fail that would b in data gathering n pt. note..coz first my hand writing[ tht shouldt b a big factor] then i might have missed some key findings n probably didt write the real diagnosis in differential..u know wat i mean....well im sure u will learn from all our mistakes n do better...good luck!!

Dont worry bugsbunny, you will pass this exam. As long as they understand what you have written, hand writing wont be a problem.

regarding ur question..no u dont have to wait for SP to say come in......but make sure u knock..n no need to wait to hear them say come in..hope it helps....well i'll keep u in my prayers...i doubt u will need more prayers than i do..lol

Hello guys,
Sar don't worry, be confident now, talk slow, be polite and profesional to your patients, you will be fine! I think they mostly test us on our communication skills and proper interaction with patients, rather clinical knowledge! So you will be just fine, don't get toooo excided about this, well easier said than done, but BE CONFIDENT!
Yes i took April, 29th for the date for CS. Hopefully i will be ready by then after my step2. It's gonna be after my vocation, so i have to carry my books with me through South America. :lol: Ooh well :| .

u know taking step1 & 2 is a different ball game together...i can take as many exams like tht without worrying.but CS is diff..u will b graded not only by doctors but also by SP's...u can miss certain things n SP wont understand that... he will judge u by 18 out of 25 responses he has to tick on his checklist
In exam u get all tht info n then u correlate symptoms n u have 5 or more choice to look for ur answer but not here..SP might think that u didt give him enough attention or made enough eye contact ..whereas u may think u did ur best..u know wat i mean..thts y im nervous..well im sure u will do good..just b confident..n practice conversing in english to ur hubby .

Although you are right bugsbunny, but I would say dont worry and just pray and hope for the best!
What are you doing these days, any externship, job etc etc??

well im enjoying my free time now a days...doing nothing..im gonna go n search for some kinda work experience under some doc....well i have a job n im doing it..so not much fun on mah side. :cry: ..its good when u r studying,,time flies..n when u have nothing to do ..it seems like time came to a standstill..lol

So lets start prep for step 3, how about this??? 
my husband is saying that i should start studying for step 3 after taking CS. I cant even think about it! But when i will be bored for having nothing to do, i will think about it.

read all ur questions u asked people today..seems like u r too nervous n confused....listen..chill out....exam is not that complicated as u think it is...like everyone told u..once exam starts u'll b eager to finish ur exam n u will get into momentum right away...dont freak out in the last days of ur preparation....im sure u will do good...u r lucky tht u r able to read exam experience of lot of people b4 ur exam.. i had the oppurtunity to just read few :cry:
well im now looking for step 3 material wherever i can find..i think ur hubby is right in telling u to study for step 3 after ur CS..i know its hard but u r fresh with step 2..so wont b tht hard for u..im taking it now coz first i need visa ,,second i wont b able to study as much in residency to take it...good luck.

It seems that you get time at night. You are replying late night.
You are right, after reading so many posts today i started bombarding questions , i am confused and scared. As I sit on computer a lot of hours in a day for uw, I visit forum quite frequently, just after finishing one or 2 cases, thats why you are seeing my so many posts today.
From your post you are not looking so excited as you were, when you were preparing for exam. Are you getting bored? Then you should start step 3 prep.
I hope, wish and pray for your success in cs. Dont worry!

why r u looking into computer everytime for UW?...well i printed out stuff from their website coz i cant look at computer screen all the time ..u know wat i mean..its easier to read tht way.well now probably u r used to it..
take it easy,, this is just an exam..I know its very important for us to pass this exam but we did our best n result is not in our hands..yeah u r right..im kinda bored but im sure u will feel the same after taking ur exam too..lol
im planning to study for atleast 3 months for step 3...seems like ecfmg is bringing out the results in 6-8 weeks now a days..people who took exam in late december r getting results now too...wish u luck again..im sure u will do gr88..

Hi bugsbunny,
I am used to study from computer, i like to read it from there. Any way today is the last day of my subscription, and i will start reading my notes from tomorrow.
3 months will be enuf for step 3. I might join you on step 3 forum, if i get bored after cs. lets see!
yes, i think they are taking 8 weeks or more now for cs results. So you will have your result in late march or early april. Best of luck!
Now i am going to revise some stuff. Its weekend now, difficult to study!
