hi..ive just started preparing for the step 2.using kaplan material..but was wondering wether i have to use both usmle world as well as the kaplan qbank..and if i have to how should i go about doing it..planning on taking the exam in march..should i take each for a month duration ??
your advice will be appreciated

most people i msg to . take usmle world . 1 month subscription has 2000+ qs . i will take it in 2 weeks

Hi Cookie,
I did both sets of questions. they are so different. They both challenge you to learn but form different angles. If you have the time, I would do both. If you would like read my message titled, Passed...249/99. It may answer some of your questions.
I was only going to do Q-bank (cuz I am cheap) but my wife told me it was too important to spare the cost. Well, good luck with your decision.

u have go for both qbank and usmle world thats what my friend told me and did lot of research about it in different forums too.

im planning to give in march end or april 1st week.usually with or after 1st reading do kaplan qbank and then do usmleworld as it is tough compared to qbank.

i think after 2 readings to kap do usmleworld. then wth 3rd readin to kaps u will know what to focus on ..thats my stategy. my exam is in feb .
