I am currently on F1 status. I have a job offer and my employer is going to process H1B. Meanwhile If I quit that job, then my employer may withdraw the H1B application. In this situation can I once again be on my F1 status?

Isn't an F visa a student visa?

Yes, an F1 is a student visa. I have an F1 visa as well. I'm focusing on the tests right now, but I would like to apply for a residency program in the U.S. Could you tell me what the process is and what kind of chance a foreign medical graduate from Central America has to get into residency program?

I have had residents from Central and South America over the years - really makes me wish that I had studied Spanish in school. Good luck with your interviews!!
