Hello friends,
is kaplan coaching worth or can one study by onself on getting the required study material.
IF it is worth then when should one enroll into kaplan i.e. should i first thoroughly study basicsciences at home & then join it or directly join kaplans &study simultaneously. thanks

hi thanks for the advice....i wanted to know if its alright studying kaplan notes 1999/2000 edition...i will be giving my step 1 at the end of 2005,do editions make a difference..and is only kaplan enough for the usmle????
and what about the video cds,is it not much of a use?
so basically there is no benefit by joining kaplan and it is better to study by oneself.
i am really confused about how to get started and how much time i should be giving before i schedule for my exams....
